We got to chat with Trevor backstage before the

final show of this leg of his 2010 tour. We're

upstairs in a small but comfortabley worn dressing

room in Santa Monica Calif. talking Touring,

Staying Sane on the road, Meditation and his

penchant for LiL Wayne ! Trevor is very relaxed

as the tour winds to a close for now......he's just

getting over a parasite he caught in India,

doing intermittant Live shows and getting ready

to go back in studio to create a new album.

...funny some of us in the industry still call it an

album ! Trevor absolutely rips it Live, he is one

of those artists that is better live then on his

albums and the Dakota show is no different.

London o2 Arena show is packed, over 11,000 fans and its a bit crazy with all the friends and families of the band members to get sit down time for blogging interviews so we shot some fun bits anyway to capture the mood of the event as everyone was really enjoying the immnensity of the evening....o2 the premier venue on the Planet ...#1 so it wasnt untill a couple nights later in Plymouth that we got to spend some time with Eddy Grant backstage...and he opens up for ontourblog.com

Eddy talks South Africa, Apartied, and how one song can play a role in helping move the planet toward healing. UB40 in Sheffield, Manchester and Liverpool Arena's

Just swept through 3 shows in a row including Sheffield Arena, Manchester Arena and the New Liverpool Arena and heading to Bournemouth for show tomorrow Tue the 7th at the BIC.
We are in our hotel with a day off...which for me is never a day off, only a catch up day in the hotel, however I managed to get to the fitness center for an hour, a walk into town for dinner and a quick blog to let you readers know that we have some insanely cool live concert footage and interviews with EDDY GRANT and UB40 tomorrow that we might even get to stream live from the concert.
Also we will talk live with Eddy Grant about life on the road, the WORLD CUP coming to his home country...SOUTH AFRICA....and a special suprise welcome and song to the greatest soccer player that has ever lived and is the secret guest host !

UB40 asked me to go onstage and talk to fans about their new USB wristband which contains 2 full CD's, including the New DUB SESSIONS 2 which is exclusively sold on this USB flashdrive at their Live concerts on this current UK tour ONLY ! Also included are 3 videos from the making of DUB SESSIONS as well as an insanely cool 500 page Discography covering everything a mad fan would crave.....30 years in the making...its truely a collectors must have ! Cant get them in record shops or online......only available at their LIVE concerts.

You wont find a security firm in England with this name I assure you. You Germans, what a sense of humor ! Finally on our way to Rotterdam.....I love Holland, everything about it....open and friendly people, relaxed vibe, always a sold out Ahoy Arena show for UB40.....the Dutch love their Reggae music and UB40 big time. What a civilized country Holland is with the best selection of Cuban cigars at the local shop on the same street as our hotel...and on the same street one can aquire the best selection of Hollands finest other smoke, the green variety if thats what your into....And of course we do have to rate Holland in our TOP 5 countries of Beautiful woman of the world !!!
Rotterdam is sold out, 10,000 and after 3 smaller German shows including Berlin, Wurzburg and Hannover (I was told an old wise tale that Wurzburg was renamed after Elvis Presley was there in the war and ate the worst burger he ever had, then wrote a song about it) ....I wasnt having it either !
Will get back to you with some great footage from Rotterdam show.

3 Rounds with Frank Bruno .....on Morphine in Glasgow !

(Millblogger and Frank Bruno) Its 1 week into the UB40 Labor of Love 4 Tour and we've moved swiftly through Ireland....as happens when touring.... I fly into Dublin Int. Airport the night before the 1st show, jump into a rental car and unknowingly head out on an all night drive, on unlit flooded roads, in terrential rain and 60 mph gusting winds. I head toward the southernmost part of Ireland and then over to beautiful Killarney....just like you'd imagine it, lush green... lepricons everywhere... We are doing 3 shows in a row ..After Killarney we are on to Dublin one of my favorite (top 7 European cities to hang in the world) for one show at the O2, followed by the last Irish Show in Belfast....thats one week ago...now we are in Rotterdam for one sold out show at the AHOY this evening ...Time just disapears when you're on the road.. in a different city almost everyday....quite surreal ...........but not half as surreal as what happens next. 4 days ago we arrive in Glasgow after an overnight Fairy Ride on the tour busses to the SECC in Glasgow for one day off then show....5:00 am I am woken by severe pain in my Kidney that turns excrutiating and at 6:00 am im in an ambulance on my way to Glasgow Emergency...an hour later im on Morphine to ease the pain of a Kidney Stone the size of a large grain of rice that looks more like a jagged piece of coral, scraping its way thru, of course, the narrowest tube in the human body, the ureter....any way thank got for the Morphine, and some great hospital staff who really were amazing...the NHS came through for me big !!!
This photo was as I arrived back from Hospital at around 8:00pm and bumped into an old friend of UB40's who we see on tour around the UK now and then, Former Heavyweight Champion Frank Bruno.
Im coming down from Morphine, (hospital bracelet still on my wrist) and there's Ex Heavyweight Champ Frank Bruno backstage, or was it the morphine.....what a great character and truely nice guy, a real Hemingway esq. larger then life characters with a deep voice, huge fist and old school gentleman demeanor, come mad tendancies in full swing......I feel lucky to have spent a few moments hanging out with this gentleman English boxer.....I did ask him if he was ready to start a real fighting career and join the Ultimate Fighting Championship MMA and he looked at me like I was mad, he said " No boss, thats much to violent for me, i'm retired from all that sir, I dont fight anymore"......Ive been a fan of Frank since the butter commercial 10 years ago...or was that 15 !

Robin Hood's real Sherwood Forrest and 100 Year celebrationof Santa Moinica Pier

This is the real deal Sherwood Forrest, where Robin Hood roamed.....passing through heading from Ricky Gervais Tour to Alesha Dixon Tour starting in Nottingham......10 days before we are sitting on Santa Monica beach celebrating 100 years of the Santa Monica Pier, what a great night....Im sitting on lifeguard tower #16 where I had my first kiss, directly in front of Bay Street where I learned to surf that same year. We are indulgent and happy, drinking expensive red wine smoking a delicious Montecristo #3, one of my favorites from the Island as the best fireworks display I have ever seen goes off at our feet....well done city of Santa Monica....even the Police let the 150,000 people enjoy things that normally arent allowed on the beach like alcohol and the thick scent of Medical Marijuana in the air......2 days later in London for production and design for 3 tours ina row !

We are heading into the last night of Alesha's Tour at the Brighton Dome and are looking forward to a really cool evening ahead.....we caught some of Alesha fans outside waiting in line and interviewed them for our blog...we'll be posting those interviews over the weekend along with our Exclusive Live Interview with Alesha...You cant miss this interview, Alesha in all her gorgeousness answering your questions and updating us with thought and anecdote about life on the road ....you dont want to miss this ontourblog Exclusive and I can tell you fans one thing for sure....Alesha is way hotter in person then on TV and she is really one of the most down to earth, genuinely cool artists ive had the pleasure to work with in many years.
Im sorry this tour is coming to an end, it feels just like that slightly sad feeling you get at the end of a school year when your life is about to change in a big way, nervous, excited, sad....what tour is next? where do I fly or drive to or jump on a train from.....these days I have a clearer picture and a distintive mission.

That mission which I have chosen to accept is to Blog from and about the tours I am working on, getting the artist involved.... communicting with their fans, fans of other artists and Humanity in general....I beleive in ontourblog.coms vision of a world community, coming together on line sharing Lives, Music, Art and a vision to change this planet through all of the above with a whole lot of love and charity...join us on this amazing journey and help us help this planet, god knows it needs our help...enough of that ..............LETS DANCE !

Im heading off to start the UB40 tour tomorrow so im in a van after the Alesha Brighton show up to Birmingham to arrive arond 2 am check into the City Inn hotel off Broad street, which happens to be quite cool these days....then to the load out after final rehersal in Telford Arena, on the tour bus for 20 hour journey including a ferry ride to Ireland...where I might rent a car and drive 4 hours to Killarney down on the coast.....First show there is today, then Dublin and Sunday a day off in Belfast.....I love the Irish, man can they drink, and that accent, one of my favorites. Ricky Gervais - Manchester Apollo "Sold Out" 3 nights

We are blogging from backstage Ricky Gervais "Science Tour"... 3rd night at the Apollo Theatre in Manchester England.
Its rainy and wet outside as we are in catering slopping down some chinese food from FAT Wongs across the street......sticky ribs and fried rice w/Beef lots of MSG's....

Ricky is currently touring England and we are on 3 shows in a row per week in one city....its pretty easy tour as we (crew , train in from London and other cities around UK, with all weekends off.

Some good guys to work with on this tour...some of the old UB40 crew out here, Jem and Adam, sound guys...have to load out...blogging out for now
